This product contains liquefied Petrolium Gases that are considered to be high risk for Cancers.  Spot Shot also contains 2-Butoxyethanol which is a powerful industrial surfactant that breaks the surface tension of soil in your carpet, allowing it to be easily removed. The problem is that surfactants are not easily removed and carpet cleaning products containing high amounts of them, like Spot Shot, leave a significant of residue that collects and traps soil back into the carpet. As a professional carpet cleaner I do not recommend this product.
