Removing Grease From Carpet Tampa FL

We’re not sure how this remedy works on older set in grease stains, but if you have a fresh stain on your carpet you might want to give this a try.
Another good home remedy for grease stains in carpet is to mix two cups of warm or hot water with a teaspoon of dishwashing detergent, preferably Dawn dish washing detergent, to make you own carpet cleaning solution. Work the solution into the grease stain with a toothbrush or other soft bristle brush. Then rinse with warm water until the stain is gone. Apply more solution if necessary and repeat the cleaning steps. Then blot the stain with a dry white towel to remove the grease and excess water. You can use a wet/dry vacuum or a portable spot remover to remove the extra water after rinsing. Just remember to thoroughly rinse the area after cleaning to make sure you remove any grease or soap residue.
